Engulf:

Help file says it is the same as drown, only you can do it on land.. in my opinion.. not really that great of a spell if you intend to be fightin ragers. Usually geyser is a better bet.

Geyser:

Is directed, but it's also an area spell. Does considerably more damage, but will also hit groupmates in certain places, kinda like fireball. So you have to be a little bit more careful with it.
