I honestly, really seriously never was *that* bad- but
I had some good examples to follow in the early days,
but overall I must say the RP has *much* improved. A
few things (good & bad) stick out though...

"Reptile" would occasionally gather a group of evil
lowbies with the promise of Red Dragon eq, and well-
lead them into the red dragon where they'd often be
slaughtered by high-damage area spells.

The "Mob Factory" and "Smurf Village" - ugh!

My first ranger walking around the goblins' area
"picking up litter" from the forest.

My first thief (a lawfull/good elf) deciding that
the help file of "dirt" saying that attack was a little
underhanded meant I shouldn't practice it. :)

Actually practicing Recall.

Yelling for "Justice" after being PKd, not understanding
why all these strange things were happening. (entropy
had the book of law, and since Cabals weren't explained
as well back then I had no idea)

During a "test" period, getting raised to level 20 and
about wetting myself with excitement.

Figuring out a quest (in the White Tower) by watching
a couple high-level folks, trying the same thing but
not getting it quite right and being slain.

Getting lost in the "Shadow Grove"

The first time I realized there was something on the
other side of the void.

Thinking darkened eq and a bastard sword was super.

Thinking 100K gold was a lot to have in the bank.

A rager showing off- asking my cleric to cast invis on
her. Luckily I was out of her PK.

Pets didn't need their own boat.

The "Homework" social was cool and funny.
