The Trouble with Druids:

Plain and simple: middle of the road, sometimes
effective retards. I'll grant you, they have some
offense, with sunray, the hunt, and their pets.

Oh, wait, unless the moon is waning. Then you're
fucked.

In these cases (about half the time of the MUD) the
druid is helpless. They receive no innate damage
spells that do NOT rely on the power of the moon. In
this they are outclassed by shamans. They also receive
NO innate damage *reduction* spells, as do BOTH healers
and shamans- who are supposed to be the "offensive"
clerics. I know, I know. If you spend a good deal of
time looking for the perfect places to do your herbal
foraging, then you probably can get some kind of
protection. But to spend that much time for getting
a facet of aid that the other two clerics get at the
drop of a hat is, I think, unfair. If the druid's
power is only available during certain times of the
month, then it should outclass the power of either
shamans or healers at its peak. I am much more afraid
as any class of a well-played shaman than of an "expert"
druid- not that I've run into an expert druid. Know
why? NOBODY PLAYS THE USELESS FUCKOS.

Just my two cents, beeeeeeeeeeeeeeyotch.

Cyke.
