> Plain and simple: middle of the road, sometimes They have many more offensive and defensive options than what you listed. What you are implying is something like asking to play an invoker without ever mastering his first level spells. Of course that invoker is going to say the class sucks when he heroes. Not true. The full moon is simply a bonus. Your spells still work fine without it. Druids get a pair of very nice damage reduction spells. I'm not sure how you can play a druid without knowing this. > and shamans- who are supposed to be the "offensive" Herbal forage doesn't do this. These kinds of comments really makes me doubt that you've ever played a high level druid. > a facet of aid that the other two clerics get at the A druid can take out a shaman or healer in a fight. Not many other classes even have a chance unless the shaman/healer is ignorant or linkdead. > as any class of a well-played shaman than of an "expert" I don't claim to be an "expert druid", but I've played three to near-hero. One right when they first went in, and truly were pathetic. One when they had bearform and were terribly scary. And, I have one right now. I still think they are one of the strongest and most versatile classes available, and are probably one of the few classes definitely _not_ in need of a power increase. Maybe your problem with druids is there are few logs available for you to scrutinize? For the most part, druids are a quiet sort, and not the bloodthirsty killers they could be. Empowerment helps weed out alot of those sorts, thankfully. If you have a problem with druids, there are 12 other classes you can try. Each one has a different style, druids don't seem to be yours. > Just my two cents, beeeeeeeeeeeeeeyotch. >
