A cabal is a "mortal" creation.. a god isn't held to mortal (cabal) standards. The immortal can
be thought of as watching over the group of individuals to make sure they do what they set out
to do. They hold the mortals accountable.

In that case, the transmuter isn't being empowered to fight a band of magic haters by receiving
a tattoo. Religious goals and cabal affiliations don't always have to jive.
