Now, I realize that magic type items need to weigh a lot to make hoarding them a little less appealing, but there are certain things out there(I'm talking about scrolls/staves/wands) that weigh far too damn much. There's a detect evil scroll that weighs 15 pounds. Now what in the hell? This is the type of item that you want to carry more than one of, especially considering the fact that if you use these types of items you don't want to be hanging out in the area that this particular scroll is in. Having identified it I see that it's vellum, which is fine calfskin. Now I don't know about you, but I would hope that words needed for detect evil would be few enough as not to have to be written on the skin of an entire calf. The detect evil potion that I found weighs 2 pounds, which is better, but is much more a pain in the ass in the get, considering how far you have to walk so the area will repop. There are also other magic items that weigh far too much. The yellow flowers weigh 2 pounds for chrissakes. I would hope that people don't have to carry around, and eat, a whole damned sunflower to be able to see detect invis. Please, for the sake of all magi/thieves/rangers/bards out there, decrease the weight on some of these staves, scrolls, wands, and potions!
