These two questions cancel each other. There aren't a lot of Imperials 'cause they're all playing ragers.

That's because people only like being ragers when they have the upper hand. It's no fun being the lone rager 'cause you get your ass beat, but it's no fun being the lone mage faced by a gang of ragers either.

How? You might be able to see the roleplay for it, but is a warrior going to do besides try to talk somebody out of the forest? They can't provide direct assistance to nature unless it's killing defilers.

Because it's part of the cabal and if you don't want to do it then you shouldn't become one. If you don't want to master your magic then that must mean you want to be a master for the powers you get and that's not the point.
