Don't look at this as you, the player. Look at it from a villager's point of view.

The Law should protect me, for I am Just. The Law should not protect mages, because they are evil.

To equate this to real life: Imagine if you were suddenly told that your local police department was going to start protecting cockroaches. Anyone caught killing cockroaches, regardless if on their property, within city limits, would be fined.

Obviously this will never happen. Also obviously (from a player's point of view) mages aren't cockroaches. But if you look closely at this from a BattleRager's perspective, you can see the correlation. Mages are bugs who need to be squished. The police want to stop you from doing it.

Now, you disagree with the police on that issue. Strongly disagree, in fact. Yet, you still expect the police to stop some guy who breaks into your house and steals your stuff. That's how I see this whole thing. As Arcaneguy said, he doesn't hate the arbs, he hates that they protect the bugs. We don't have representatives and such in CFland to get the law changed, so the ragers have to bring about change in their own way.
