Since I noticed a couple people have deleted over not getting Shokai's tat soon enough when he was just about to give it to them I figured I'd give you my view on it. It's alright for your goal to be to get his tattoo. Just don't make that the only reason you play the char, there are two reasons for this. From what I can tell Shokai likes to take a lot of time to watch you before he gives you the tat. Also, if the tat is the primary goal for the char you are either going to get bored when it takes too long or once you get it you'll stagnate. I think the way you should look at is this, play like your char is already a Maran, that's it. If you are doing a good job he will let you know*generally pop out of nowhere when you least expect it and tat your ass*. Don't stress over it. And for people like Imbrogno, if you are looking for instant gratification, in my oppinion, Shokai isn't for you. Please correct me if any of my thoughts are wrong Shokai. As I said they are just my oppinions from observations and personal experiences.
