Out of curiosity, what's the process for someone to immort? Is it a, "Don't call us, we'll call you," sort of thing, or do people actually apply. If the latter, what are the criteria? The few that come to mind are...

1) Spotless RP in-game,
2) General game knowledge (classes, areas, etc...)
3) Ability to contribute as an imm (new areas, player interaction, time committment, etc...)
4) Ability to get along with current imm staff, i.e. not being a jackass.

Are there more? Any of the above not valid?
