Yes and no. Yes, we used to. No, it doesn't happen
all that often any more. For example, you used to
see a lot more quest forms for transmuters given out.

I think the reason that has happened is because
of another catch 22. When people were getting
those special things, the staff got swamped with
requests for them. The volume of requests
we used to get when those things were handed out was
ridiculous and became a huge hassle. Thus the,
"don't call us, we'll call you" attitude.

That said, things still happen. It's just rare now.

Typically it's some IC move that makes an Immortal
say, "Damn, that was well-played" or "Wow, that was
a gutsy move" or something of the sort. It's usually
a long term thing. Like, you're not going to get a
quest skill just because you killed 10 guys at once
one time in your life (well, ok, you might, but you
get the point).

You can say there's a standard if you want, but it
mostly comes down to #2, and not just during the time
of the interview. This has been covered in numerous
other posts.
