The special quest thing answers a lot. Someone else mentioned that one of the most powerful forms of reward in this game might be special forms/quests given out more frequently. Even if they're just goofball skills, it would really embiggen CF. I remember talk of a 'rabid chipmunk' for a quest form..that would have been humorous. Or the power to belch in different colors. Some crazy shit like that. Without sounding too obsessive about the imms, it's imm interaction that makes this game, in my opinion. Not because I worship any of them (except maybe Lady Nepenthe), but my main reason for playing this game is to immerse oneself in the environment...and having a drunk come up to you and curse you out is a great example (or the guildmaster who sheepishly showed me his library of empty books, or...) I've nothing particularly interesting to say as far as lich quests/inductions. Lich quests were a great idea...although I have no illusion that I'd ever be able to complete one. I'm not saying that makes CF good or bad...that's just reality for me. I'm kind of feeling blindly in the dark here...I feel that if CF were tweaked slightly, it would be perfect, not near-perfect (as I see it now.) But, I can't say how. And if 40 Imms are working on the game, I'm quite sure there is more being done than I could presume to suggest. Thanks for the insight. When I can verbalize whatever it is I'm trying to say, I'll spout again, hopefully more coherently. As for the game dying in a year and a half, I highly doubt it. It has lasted this long, and I don't know of any other games that have maintained their popularity for..how long has been CF been around now? I've only played since this third age, but I'm pretty much hooked. It's the timeless qualities that will make this game live on (* hums the theme from Titanic*) and on. Keep up the work, CF'rs. (Imms and players alike) It seems like we get so mired in controversy that the game becomes secondary. It shouldn't.
