Two things, one somewhat nit-picky and one incredibly nit-picky.

Overall, it's certainly a fine description. Sticks to the basics, but that's probably good in a desc.

1) the verb "don" means "to put on" and generally applies to clothing or other things you'd wear, like armor.... thus you can't really don cuts and bruises.

2) If you're in perfect health and they look at you, you still have cuts and bruises [this is the incredibly nit-picky one]
