Read ALL of Ursula Le Guin's books. Some like Left Hand of Darkness are scifi-ish, and other like her Earthsea trilogy (with a book tacked on at the end later) is more fantasy. Her writing is phenomenal. I can't recomend it enough. Oh yes...and my spelling is optional...so you might have to check other sources for that. The GRC (EMAL)
