All *kidding* aside, it's been my experience that players
tend to "throw" themselves at a lich instead of being totally
prepared. In my mind, Istendil is a perfect example of players
throwing themselves at a lich. The last set of liches: Viscrinth,
Oro, and Draktha (liches I've fought against), my character
was easily the worst possible class you could throw against a
lich. I really had to pick and choose the right moment/opportunity.
They didn't come up often, and I usually botched them. It seemed
to me there are quite a few players who don't even put that much
thought into it. Sure, their role may demand it, but this shouldn't
be true of a large number of players. At least, I hope not.
The Master liches (they keep saying there is two) have a strong
Warder/Maran front to deal with. Throw in the ragers, and an
Entropy lich who fiends for Tome, and it could be interesting.


In theory, I agree with you, and Arch-angel. In practice I have
yet to see it. Tho' it always seemed to me Oro took quite a beating.
