They primarily join it for the roleplay, the imagery, and the uniqueness of it, after all, the rest of the cabals are for the most part easily summed up, Empire is your evil, conquer the world types, battleragers hate magic, Masters love magic, Dawn is your help the poor utmost good, Arbiters are neutral (not alignment, but ideawise) they just wish to protect order and law for power, justice or whatever. However Scarabs are a bit different, they believe things and see things much differently, if you like that, you join, most people don't have the patience, me for instance, or the roleplay ability, or the time. The few that do are damned good usually.
