I went mace and sword for rp reasons really, though if I could choose, I would have thrown sword out the door and taken spear/staff, in truth the results would have been incredible, I rarely used my swords, very very rarely, they only truely came in handy against fighting necromancers.. needed the flourtine to stand a small chance, anyway.. I would defiantley pick mace, it was very fun for me, and spear or sword as a secondary.. just my thoughts.
