Hello folks, it's nice to see (*chuckle*) you all again! Working on my next-character-role, I came to the problem with writing scrolls IC. Problem is: my character supposed to write and spread many scrolls nad parchments (not sending notes, no). Sometimes, it could be same scrolls (and writing it all again and again would be way too hard task to do). And I came tothe idea - why not add a 'copy' command? It could work this way: Another part of this idea was copying/writing spell scrolls. Some of you would say overpower. Agreed, though this skill may be limited (for example, only those who have 100% pen and 100% spell they trying to write would have chances to write a worthy scroll. Quality of pen and paper could be important too). What would it give to the game? First, more creativity. Now, almost no one using pen skill. With 'copy' it will be more usable. Ability for mages to write their own magical scrolls will add many troubles to everyone else, and I think fun too. Scrolls could be sold, used, stored, traded and copied - isn't it fun? Best wishes to you all, and please forgive me my language.
pen copy scroll_1 scroll_2, where scroll_1 - it's original, and scroll_2 - piece of blank paper.
As a writing whole scroll, it could be failed and paper broken, but as better you have practices pen skill, the more chances to success you have.
