I think a drow conjurer would be a great combination for many reasons. But ... My specific complaint: I didn't mind at first because my drow conjurer was in the Tower and had transform so I could avoid death (forget playing outside the cabal) ... but it became too frustrating to know that other races (perhaps their higher charisma) do so much better with the conjuration class. And I gave up. I would just enjoy a demon to stay through the entire binding hours - given I don't get it killed - rather than a 'more' powerful demon that stays half as long. Any input from anyone?
I have had played elven, gnome, and drow conjurers and the drow don't compare. I look around and deduce other players think the same ... noone plays drow conjurers. But drows summoning demons from hell sounds ... well ... fitting.
At rank 27 - a demon/200 to conjure/400 to bind/50 hour - will leave after 25 hours (with max charisma on the drow) ... and when they do it's a fifty fifty chance the drow will be attacked. The demon has been eating the corpses of lightwalkers the entire time to make sure they are kept happy.
