Most people will tell you to train hp, just out of some sort of misguided reflex. But for a healer... I can't tell you how nice it is to have a huge, huge well of mana to draw from. So long as you don't get held, you should never die. And if you get held, chances are another couple hundred hps wouldn't help you *too* much anyway. I'd say train hp and mana at an even balance, leaning a little toward mana... or perhaps, just train all mana. When you can get 200 hps for 60-65 mana or whatever once you hit rejuvenate, you'll realize why mana is good.

Gear for hps, though. Train mana, gear for hps and saves. Do not gear for dam roll, ever. And don't worry too much about gearing for mana, unless you're ridiculously low... which you won't be, with gnome int and trains.
