Here's the REAL answer :) Instead of getting practices per session you get practice points depending on WIS and INT. Example, an wood-elf ranger with INT 23 adn WIS 18 would receive 223 (3*71) practice points whic would then be allocated point-by-point int othe skill/spell/commune you desire. So, our ranger friend, instead of entering "prac barkskin" (and being at 71%) would enter "prac barkskin 75" and so on. This would greatly help some ppl, lie a human assassin who needs "1.5" practices to get a skill to 75%. So, the WIS/INT scale is fine but the means to allocate what you can practice would be altered... BTW, what I've always thought was odd is that there is no WIS that gives you 5 pracs, it jumps from 4 to 6...
