Not really a response to your idea, but a comment about charisma and the common misunderstanding that it's all about looks.

While in CF charisma does, to some degree, encompass looks...it's not all about how beautiful or ghoulish the person looks. It's based on how another person would react to you...somewhat. Obviously an elf with a 19 charisma is still going to get a poor reaction from a dark-elf. Anyway, just felt like clearing up the charisma thing a little.
