You're not going to convince anyone. Not because you're wrong or because you're necessarily doing anything wrong, but because they're not going to be convinced. Behind each and every one of those complaints is a wannabe Rager, and if you look closely enough, it boils down to "I want to be a Rager, and if you're making it hard for me, you must be a shitty leader." I heard the same crap when I decided to make village inductions Defenders-only, and I'm sure the next leader after you who implements some induction requirement other than "be able to say 'Me no like magic' with a straight face" will get similar treatment. I haven't had time to play in the past couple of months, so I don't know your character personally, but don't let this garbage dissuade you. I'd also highly recommend against posting on the forum with your character name when you're a leader... it never helps.
