"Ethics of PKing"? Spare me. If I'm playing, say, a Voice of the Scarab, and I deliberately return a holy sword to a paladin, that's horrible roleplaying. If I'm playing an Imperial, all of my enemy's former possessions are going into the donation bin, and I would expect an Anathema if I sent a tell to a fallen foe to "pick up their things". Rager giving potions back to a Mage? Ugh. Now, if I'm playing a Servant of the Dawn, I might make the gesture of returning my foe's gear, minus anything tainted, as a gesture towards showing the other person an act of kindness, which might sway their heart in the future. I might not even take things that I could use. If I was playing a Maran, I might demand repentance before I make such an offer, else I'm making a big bonfire to keep the shadowrunners weak. I'd put this whole issue under the giant pile of forum threads that can be answered with "What's in your role? Do that."
