You're right, it's completely ridiculous. This game is meant to be a fun thing to do in your spare time. As Shokai stated below, I suppose the class is supposed to be some sort of practicer's dream (people actually enjoy this?) and apparently it isn't working out for you. Rather than hang in there, how bout this... start using triggers. If you don't want to put in the time to finish the rest of your spells and you don't want to play a half assed invoker, than you have nothing to lose. Stationary spells are easy, buy a lot of food/drink and leave the comp for a few hours. When you come back, presto, you've mastered the spell. The damage ones are a bit more difficult, but there are ways to work those too. You're uncabal'd, so you don't have any responsibilities really, turn on quiet mode so you don't miss anything and practice away, cause there's no reason to throw away all the time you've spent on the char just to delete because you've realized the horrible reality of what it means to be a cf invoker :P > I have played a few transmuters and one conjurer and a few lowbie necromancers. But this is my first attempt at an invoker. My character is at lvl 41 with a 170 some hours on him I have tried my best to stay on top of spell practice but at 41 I only have 3 shields. Pebble refuses to budge from 94%
> Nova and Iceneedles both are in low 80's and dont act like they want to go up anytime soon. *Why are invokers so hard to practice?* I mean is it not enough that we have to practice so many damn spell? I leveled in aridhol from level 37 to lvl 40 using nothing but nova and the spell did not budge from 83%. I am not a master and I know thats supposed to help but I simply dont have the time available to play a cabal'd character. I have barely two hours a day sometimes not even that and I hate having to waste them just spamming endlessly. Now I know some of you will say if you dont want to spam dont play the class. But I really like the class thus far I just think maybe the imms could lighten up on the spells a little. Make spells go up a little faster for invokers. Its not going to kill the game or game balance if some shmoe like me gets all his spells mastered in 150 hours instead of 250 hours. I hate being limited to certain classes on cf just cause I dont have 8 hours a day to spare for CF.
