While I understadn the rage, the dishonor of the tablets etc. IC (OOC I think it's weak) how can such a fight be fair when the bard's songs have no effect? What of honor etc. that Dhaevor was just accusing the bard of lacking.

I don't think Dhaevor was expecting the bard to win.
It was more like wanting the bard to back up his words.
The winner of the fight is not important, but you have
to put your money where your mouth is.
