At least, I had it before I went in, I ranked there for a few hours and then no longer had fast camo. After that, I decided it wasn't worth the trouble of finding places to rank and just tried to get through my ranks as quickly as possible and make up for my wilderness % later. Unfortunately, if you do make a few assumptions and then do the math, it comes out that rangers can be severely screwed by ranking in non-wilderness areas. If wilderness % is just a straight up percentage of wilderness vs non wilderness and you go by one of the numbers I've heard - 75% wilderness = fast camo, then for every 1 hour you spend ranking in some non-wilderness place, you have to spend 3 hours sitting around in the wilderness. If you spend 10 hours ranking in non-wilderness, that comes to 30 hours of sitting in the wilderness. The more I think about this, the more unrealistic it becomes - in fact, I'm hoping the formula for wilderness is more complicated than that.
