Nothing like a personal attack. Sheesh.
But anyway, dying doesn't help your friend much either, now does it.
Let's consider the situation: You're a healer. If you recalled, you could be back there in what, five seconds? Ever hear of gate? And you could just gate to an orphan in balator, so don't give me any "can't gate to jheriohn in the citadel" crap. Spamming flee while fighting a cabal inner guardian, when you are also opposed by two or three pc's, is just, well, silly. (If you can just recall and return like lightning.) Let alone the fact that recalling would have let you put up prot shield, and allowed you to be free from lagging attacks, and actually do something to help Jheriohn.
Also, given that Aradan was the only one who could fight jheriohn, I dont see that he was in all that much danger. He can flee and sing cold on him without fear of someone else attacking -- even if aradan summons him.
Mostly, the point is that your plan, spamming flee and failing and dying, didn't work. My suggestion -- which was just that, and phrased perfectly nicely, contrary to your little tantrum -- would likely have saved your life and his, and you'd have been able to return better equipped to kill the vanquisher.
Oh well, sucks for you. You can always go kill the paladin again for that ring you love so much.
