I have played a few imperials of which none have been anathemad, allthough I have done a lot of stupid shit there too. Though, I allways thought that a citizen is supposed to oath as many people as they can. Bloodoath is supposed to change mindset, so anything you did before swearing bloodoath shouldn't get you anathemad. Think of Ygnacio for instance. He was drow, and as such evil. He didn't act out a destroy all/be evil/drink blood/rape elves role, and still he immorted. He was someone who I could think of actually saving the elf, if he felt like it. So let's say that a evil/chaotic person sphere destruction, playing a role a bit similiar of Yggies swears the oath after being killed over and over by citizens. So, would you think anathemaing him would be the right call. It's ok, I think that people could get a punnishment for helping the elf, if it is deemed bad RP, but anathemaing is the wrong kind of punnishment. Loosing some skill or spell would suit better.
