Caveat Lector: I am aware that this is not
the correct board to provoke this discussion.
Wrath has made that clear. But, I will ask
the question here anyways, since it looks a
good opportunity, given that his comments
in the thread above had inspired me.
Yes, I'm a newbie :-)
> 3. No one is in a position to "know." The versatility on paladins appears to be very high, now. Anyone who claims to be an expert is likely more than a little egomaniacal and deluded.
On versatility of paladins: I don't know what
skills they gain with the dedication, but they
are definitely what I think of when I think
of a "cleric/warrior". You get
warrior-like specialization, and Gods know
that you get supplications enough to pass
off as a cleric.
Then my question is - why not do the same with
anti-paladins, who are supposed to be
"mage/warriors". Allow them to specalize in
some weapons? I imagine them as axe-wielders,
sword fighters or polearm users (just because
we've all probably seen 10e6 .jpg's with
heavy-plated dark knights on horsebacks with
enormous glaives).
Once again, I'm sorry if I posted to the
wrong board. If some VIP wants to delete this,
it would be nice to repost it where it should've
been posted, albeit it will be taken slightly
out of context.
