To be honest the Code is difficult to follow, but the Code should be part of your existence. Having your quantities of gold is inexcusable. Wearing evil items for ANY REASON or JUSTIFICATION is unacceptable. You can remember just fine where evil lurks and need not the reminder of evil items...in truth, it seems more like a justification for carrying some good magic items (why did you not carry some pathetic items instead? - or perhaps a scroll you penned as a reminder of previous events instead?).

Yes, I would have unempowered you, and you are lucky to have remained empowered this long. You twist the Code as effeciently as any Scarabite or Black Crow to suit your desires.
