As harsh as he might have been, the above Master has a point...how can any one character know 18 months worth of quests? Assume a character lives 600 hours, a person would have to play for less than an average of 33 hours a month to be around for everything; and I would think it would break rp to roll up a new char, rank like mad then use previous knowledge to 'continue' in this quest. And that's assuming the player chooses a character than can participate in these quests with every cabal/character combination (although I'm sure the Imms are careful not to exclude anyone.)

Also, having to be around for at least 18 months to participate in the funnest part of the mud (at least to me, these quests are the best part of the mud, I wish there were more of them. I've never been disappointed in interacting with an imm-mob, it always puts a lot more into my character/history than I would expect.)is not exactly newbie friendly. Hell, I've played for a while, and I'm not sure exactly what's going on. Is there some way to make these a little more accessible to the common peops? I don't mean 15th ranks, but perhaps there might be a tavern or inn somewhere where a mob might be programmed to talk about the quests...there was a graphical mud that did something like this, I forget the name, but essentially if you hang around long enough, you'll catch bits and pieces and whatnot.

Word to your mom.
