To be honest, there hasn't been a "slew" of exceptions. I can think
of what.. four? Pikel, and Jaemaen... both of which had to work to
get inducted... there was Imansh.. who am I missing in terms of Sylvan
shamans? Not exactly a slew.. (besides the current one)

> Then After Pikel imm'ed I heard from an imm source that "there will be NO more shaman sylvans"

Please.. don't pull a Graatch. Making wild unsupported claims doesn't help
your argument any

> Hell...it even sais in the SYLVAN HELP FILE basically no shamans.

there are always exceptions IF the rp is strong enough

> Am I saying that they are not gifted rpers....no.

This is part of the reason in a nutshell. If they are strong rpers with a well
thought out role which they stick to.. why should shamans be excluded completely?

> What I am saying, is that there is only one real reason to play a sylvan shaman...and that is to pk...alot.

Utilizing that thinking:

There is only one real reason to try to lich
There is only one real reason to master all your invoker spells
There is only one real reason to play a mid 20s duergar rager
There is only one real reason to role an air form transmuter (well ok not anymore)
There is only one real reason to roll an evil entropy arial assassin

My point being there are plenty of players who choose the race/class/cabal combo to optimize
the pk ability. Why don't you see too many half elf paladins?

Your assertion may be true in some cases, but considering I've had extensive
knowledge of a couple of Sylvan shaman, I can say they were both well played
and not focused on the pk aspect.

> But then you get these people who know how to rp, and they realize that with a little effort, they can get a really powerfull class/cabal combo. So they think up an rp that will fit. work it for a while, and are granted sylvanship.

With little effort? Do you have first hand knowledge of each of the routes these "exceptions"
had to go through?

> It is kindof making me sick. See a druid try for arbies, and short of losing his sups, he is not going to get in.

Ok.. come with a strong roleplay reason why a shaman should never be a Sylvan? Mother nature does
have a "vengeful" aspect to her. Why wouldn't a shaman be an extension of this?

> See an a-p go for troup, and short of losing all his spells and questing to change aligns, he is not going to get in.

Do you know for sure?

> See a ranger go for empire, and short of losing wilderness famil, he is not going to get in.

Of course there are other ways for a ranger to aid the empire.. and you do realize that the dark gods
to have some power.

You claim these are quite common. Go into detail. Is there currently a glutton of
shaman in Sylvan right now? Seriously, if this is the case, you have a strong point.
But, you can't discount the fact that these players may have earned their spot in
the Warders, and you can count on that they'll be watched. Uller and Sebeok are quite
involved with that cabal.

My biggest concern regarding Sylvan? Not enough druids.. I plan to make my small contribution. ;)
