Thief can tank well (maces) if attacked first
Thief can blackjack/knife/circle if not attacked

Transmuter might drop like a stone if attacked
Transmuter can halt/fumble/slow/soften if not attacked

Conjurer can tank well if attacked
Conjurer does stupid damage even if he's not attacked

So all 3 makes a messy choice who to try and take down first (ie swiftly and negate from the fight)
My best bet would be to hit thief and cranial transmuter or vice versa.... (of course if they didn't have prepare time then it'd be a different story again...cue ceaseless ramble)
