I fell to a couple of deaths with this cheap tactic. Assassinated, then flee and hide. I can put triggers to assassinate, then flee and hide, who can find me. There is no way (in my experience) to counter this tactic as there is practically no delay in it. It's as bad as knife, though knife doesn't kill you in one blow. Follow the example below :

Assassin stalks a target till he feels confident. The target cannot notice hidden and then the assassin springs in for assassination. Failed assassinate, (with triggers/alias) the asssassin flees and hides. The target goes to the spot where the assassin flees to and cast fog. The casting has a lag, the assassin revealed drinks a potion of recall/vanishes. Or the assassin can even attempt to strangle the target while he's casting.

I wouldn't mind dying to assassination but the no lag attempt is ridiculous. How is another suppose to counter it? My suggestion is that the assassinate should lag - come on, even strangle has lag, why not assassinate? This should make sense.

For those who think I'm bitching about it, I'm speaking straight from the heart and not bitching. Just for the Imms to weigh the situation made know to them and then they decide.
