Yes. Correct.

But your char has no idea that saving the elf will give you those boots that are so awesome for newbies. So by saying you wanted the nice boots, and you did what you had to do...is cheating in a mild way.

The thing is, 98% of the evil newbies do this same thing, and it has gotten old. So the imms are cracking down.
