Minalcar inherited a strong village that went to shit soon after he did so. Perhaps that was by design or perhaps he should've never been made leader, but the fact remains that the village is far worse off now than it was even under Rezkirat.
First, a lot of battleragers didn't like Minalcar because of his assholeishness, against perhaps this was by design.
Second, Minalcar instated the "mage's body part" induction requirement which bogged down the induction process and slowed the growth of the village.
Third, Minalcar got the village involved in an unwinnable war. You don't beat the arbiters in a war because the arbiters can put you an exp hole as 4 or 5 ragers quickly found out last night. This war sped up the exodus process(Ayame-gone though she hasn't been a force in forever, Ioanis gone, Coaric gone, Iradrin gone though still alive, Hilsbred gone, Grulhurk gone, and countless others.
Fourth, Minalcar betrays the village, leaving them leaderless and on their own to fix the mess he got them in.
The only thing Minalcar did that was to the benefit of the village was deleting. The village wasn't going to get a new leader until he was gone and now he's gone so he did them a favor.
I don't know who the battle imms are going to pick for a new leader since none of the 40+ ragers log on now that they're with opposition. Maybe they should purge again.
