You mentioned duels. Ok, so in the Wild West a couple guys could go outside at high noon and empty their six-shooters on one another. That's fine, but at no time could, let's say 5 Mexicans, ride into a Texas town and rape, pillage, and shoot people just for the helluvit.

If you're bitching about duels being banned that's a whole other topic that can be answered by saying "that's what the Inn of the Eternal Star is for, and if you can't walk that far or find your way take it to the docks."
