Dawn's purpose is to instill hope in the Light. For the most part I can't drag half of them to hunt Imperials with me. Dawn doesn't have an item because their powers don't warrant one. There powers exist soley to aid people. If you give them an item then they will need powers to compliment, as it is, none of their powers(if I remember correctly)would directly aid them in retrieval or raiding. As for them remaining neutral in cabal politics or them having an item if they do not, is silly. The Arbiters *have* an item and they are supposed to remain neutral in all of cabal politics. The Empire exist to conquer, and to crush all who would oppose them beneath thier bootheals. Who wouldn't join the Empire, goodies, who does dawn bring hope to so in the hopes that they will carry on, goodies. They compliment each other well for the atmosphere of the game. Basically what I think it comes down to is that right now the goodies are stomping a gigantic mud hole in evils ass, and they aren't happy about it. I admit it does get boring, with only four people I can think of offhand in my pk range(hero)out sometimes over 20. For right now though that's just the way it is.

> I do not currently play either a Servant of the Dawn or an Citizen of the Empire, but, if anything on these boards is remotely true (and we all know how much misinformation is out there concerning this matter) then Dawn should have a cabal item and get a taste of their own medicine.

> If Dawn sets themselves forth as a group that does not, as a group, declare war, actively take another cabal's item, aid the retrieval of an item, or declare sides in any way (within regards to cabal politics) then they should not have a cabal item.

> This is not true from what I have been hearing.

> Dawn, it seems, by action alone (if not actual stated policy) is waging a _war_ against the Empire. They have broken all edicts of reason that would dictate that they should be given special status. By their actions alone, they have rendered themselves into the bloody fray. Dawn must have an item, or declare their status of war against the Empire, whether it be by action or declaration, null and void.

> As an aside, I know nothing of the Servants of the Dawn, but as far as Motiak has stated, they do not have a cabal item, and that is my basis for this arguement, as you can plainly see.
