> Especially when you do not know any details of what happened. This is kind of a funny statement. How can we not know any details of what happened when a log of what happened is posted by him? And if you still contend that we can't know what happened, how can you then go on to criticize the immortal involved since (unless you're a friend of his) you "do not know any details of what happened" either? > He was really screwed. Perhaps justly, perhaps not, but I completely agree with him that the imm was in the wrong, when he acted without any rping and before he knew any nuances abot the char. I think it's pretty clear, whether the immortal met anyone's RP standards or not, that there weren't any character nuances missed in the process. Even if the character gambled away 47 million in gold, I would hardly consider that an act of charity. He broke the Code, he got caught. I doubt that the immortal in question didn't snoop him for a while, in which case the immortal had more information about the situation than you do. You're assuming an awful lot about what happened on the immortal side of this story. > Empowerment is not citizenship. Which is why you can get re-empowered but not re-oathed. > Also, it is very understandable he posted what happened with him on this forum. It probably did not help him a bit IC, but it is understandable. Understandable because of what? Because venting is healthy? Because it will make the game better? Unless I'm mistaken the original reason of the post appears to be to lash out at the immortal that unempowered him and to try and rally support for himself. Now, as a side bonus, other players will be reassured that neo-Paladins can't just do whatever they want. So, in a way, the post might have helped someone. Other than that, I don't see it's educational value, especially after having already been discussed once. > As for the idea about noexp.. I just don't think its worth it. Is it really so critical to stay in particular level? I guarantee noexp won't happen.
