We see alot of people posting char roles on the forum. When I look at most of these I wonder how long is too long? How much is an immortal going to read before they go on to more important things?

My last few characters have had little or no role. Is this right or wrong? As far as I know, roles are completely unecessary unless your character's actions could be misinterpreted without this information. I don't think it should be 5000 words long, or contain 43 different entries. I think the important stuff gets lost when the role is too large.

Anyway, I don't know if I'm right or wrong, but I would like to know how everyone else feels about this.
