> Perhaps consider this. > 1.Cant log off first 10 minutes after you logged in with a character. There's no reason to log in if you can only play for 5 minutes. Not a bad idea. Bad idea. This screws people in so many ways it's not even funny. Besides, if someone drops link with on char and logs in with another, it is quite often caught and punished. > 3. After deletion of a character, you cannot log in for 10 minutes. Nah. If you deleted a char, there's no reason to keep someone from playing another for 10 minutes. It won't help against 'scouting' much. > 4. On creation of a character, the first 10 minutes you can only see 'who newbie'. This isn't a bad idea either, but instead of 10 minutes, I'd say until level 5. Make that guy level up a bit. > That should cover it. I keep seeing people logging in for 30 second periods. This sucks, I agree, but many of your suggestions seem a bit extreme.
> 2.People loosing link, one way or another, while in their 10 minutes are transferred to a holding cell, from where they cannot see the 'who' list. When they get online again, they can wait there till an imm puts them down in the realm again, or decide to drop link again.
