> I know people exagerrate but from some of the things ive heard it seems empire might be better of without a cabla channel just to avoid temptation. How true is it? We need a cabal channel, it makes communicating very easy. The answer to your first question would probably be C. I'd tell everyone they were in Balator (don't even draw the conclusion they are raiding, let other people decide that.) Everyone has someting to lose of the codex is taken. If you think it's risky just don't mention it and let them find out for themselves. (If you have the codex they probably have to go throuh 6 sets of centurions anyway.) There's no law anywhere that says you have to tell anyone else anything unless they're your sect leader or the emperor and they ask. A story of the cabal channel and the most recent emperor. I was a warrior, praciticing in Akan when one of those "I'm sitting at this level warrior with all my skills maxed and some cool hero eq to kill people 20-25" attacks the vanquisher. The Emperor reports on cb that he is alone, and I run all the way back to the citadel to take him on. Unfortunately I figured he'd be wounded from the vanquisher, and he wasn't because he stopped fighting it after the vanquisher yelled so he could wait for me. Basically, he ripped me in half, right in front of the vanquisher, right in front of the Emperor, even. I didn't mention it, and neither did the emperor. I grabbed what was left from my corpse and went back to practicing quietly. 5 minutes later, some arcane in my and this person pk gets killed by him. So basically, your fears aren't totally unfounded. Just stay off cb unless you really need to. Never mention any weakness or inability on your part. This means either you have to be the ultimate bad ass and never have a weakness, learn to keep real quiet, or learn to lie very well. All are acceptable alternatives in the Empire.
He announces over the cb "So-and-so just killed me." Bam, instantly anathemized for "being a fool." I suspect it was for publicly declaring a non-citizen was better then him.
