Logging the fights that is.

Proud Blade: I did a search on log, logging, and logging fights and all I got was a lot of 'apoLOGies' and one post about logging with no real information. Just so ya know, Hun.

As hard as I tried to be nice to EVERYONE someone has taken a disliking to me (*wink* lion). So now it looks as though some of my time might devoted to saving my precious neck rather than running around drinking, singing, exploring and keeping certain unnamed individuals happy and satified (*wink* you know who)

I'm running zMUD 5.55 and my questions are:

1) How do I log my fights? Can I make triggers so that when I get attacked or engage someone zMUD automatically starts logging?

2) How do I increase my buffer zone? Currently I have my main screen (where everything happens) and a tell screen (to capture yells, tells, says, and such). I want to increase the buffer zone on both of those.

3) If I'm logging a fight does it have to be captured to another screen or will it just save it from my main screen?

4) Once the fight is logged how do I attach a name to it? (So I can tuck away for later ;)

I'm sorry if I seen dense (I'm only blonde IC) but all this is new to me.

• Your buffer should be pretty high for 5.55, so you can save more than enough for a fight. Just type '#log name' and it'll start. n/t Feirshay 13:01:34 9/1/2000 (0)
