I'm still wondering why the staff of CF has decided to make mastering
skills and spells in general so difficult. It has made the decision to
be a roleplaying mud with pking so where does spamming a spell or watching
a warrior parry 15+ mobs for 4+ hours at a time fit in? I do realize one
does not have to master skills and such, but that's like saying you don't
have to train every day to run a marathon. Sure, you can try running in it
but don't expect to finish anywhere near the top. This question comes up
every time I try to start a new character and end up deleting because of sheer
boredom before I hit 15th rank. I enjoy the roleplaying more than I do the pk
aspect so mastering isn't something I'm terribly concerned about, but it's just
one of those things I've never understood.
