Trust me... an Imperial or Scarab (i.e. NOT Rager) fire spear/mace would be a really, really, really potent combo. The more I think about it, the more it seems as good as, if not better than, arial sword/whip, felar spear/hand, and other such clichéd combos.

It's a very equipment-based pick, moreso than almost any other warrior I can think of. It relies on a couple of items to work the way I envision it, but fortunately those items are always in.

Things to ponder:

A) Forget staff. Spear/mace all the way.
B) Why did I pick a giant?
C) Why didn't I pick storm or cloud?
D) How would you approach combat as the character in question? Do you think it would work? Why or why not?
