Not everyone plays with color. You could distinguish possessive emotes in some other telltale way to take care of that, though it'd look kinda funny. There was some reason it was thought to be bad for you to be able to get away with this, though I can't remember what.

There were a few other issues we came up with, but damned if I can remember what they were. Maybe in the morning.
