intersects two decidedly different roads here. To the north is a shady
lane that slopes slightly upwards as it transforms itself into Bramblefield
Road. Constructed of a multitude of flat stones, the wide road to the
south runs through a sparse forest of twisted and stunted trees. Both
the western and eastern segments run straight as a bow shot towards the
horizon, dividing the dwarf forest to the south from the cultivated fields
and pastures to the north. A few wagons and carts are visible in a dusty
clearing just off the road to the southwest.

Far Above the Great Crossroads
The air rushing under your wings is cold and crisp. You slow
the flapping of your wings and glide for a moment, to marvel
once again at the view. No matter how many times you see it,
the view from above the clouds still invokes a childlike
reverence in you. The cloud cover here is sparse, giving you a
wide view of the countryside below. You are flying roughly above
the great expanse of the Eastern Road, which stretches from the
western horizon to that in the east. Almost directly below you,
the road interects with Bramblefield road leading north, and a
trail leading towards the dwarf forest far to the south. Just
southeast of the crossroads, a large building catches your eye.
Many travelers, as small to you as ants to a normal man, hurry in
and out of it. Many smaller buildings surrounded by green and
yellow squares of farmland run along the road as well. Far to the
south you can see the edge of the dwarf forest, and Bramblefield Road
leads the way north through the plains.
