filled with shin-high grasses.  The meadow itself is round and stretches for

A Giant Clearing in a Large Forest 
  Large trees that were only feet apart before now open into a giant clearing
filled with shin-high grasses.  The meadow itself is round and stretches for
hundreds of yards to the east and west.  In the middle of the open grass is
a small hill that provides a lookout point for the entire area.  Upon it are
growths of flowers and other fauna that were planted to show the amount of
life flowing through the earth.  A young oak tree sprouts from the middle of
the hill and reaches its branches towards the sky.
