  Bright silver radiance pulses strongly throughout this chamber.  Many holy
relics line the wall of this most sacred of places.  A brilliant white altar
rests in the center of the room, built on the center of a huge symbol inlaid
in the gray flagstones of the floor. Placed throughout the room, in non-
obtrusive places several stout chests have been placed for spare gear, and 
donations for others of the Light.  An aura of serenity seems to hang in 
the air. Large stone arches open to the east, south and west.

rebuilt Voralian City, and the broad flowing Voralia's Tears. A stiff
breeze blows constantly chilling you slightly.  The stairway opens up

On a Long Spiral Stairway 
  This huge staircase extends straight up through the cold rock of the
mountain. Carved out of the mountain itself each stair is perfectly
carved. Small veins of mithril become more obvious in the rock as you
ascend and the air grows more and more chilled. A rail made of braided
silver and gold has been secured to the outside of the stairs to 
prevent the long fall to the council chambers below.

The Hall of Light 
  The gray flagstones of this room are partially covered by a thick blue
carpet.  Bookshelves line three of the four walls, filled with holy texts 
and knowledge acquired during the endless war against the dark and its 
minions.  Chairs and desks rest against the western wall, near a stone 
archway leading to the bright altar room.

At the Altar 
  You stand before an impressive gold altar draped in gilded silk. The tallest 
candelabra are so tall they hardly cast any light down on the main part of the
altar; they only serve to highlight the highest reaches of the altar. 
Fortunately, there are more candelabra lower down, which, along with the light
coming through the stained glass window, provide enough light to see the full 
magnificence of this altar. The altar and its vicinity are adorned with 
generous arrangements of flowers, all in a yellow, gold, white, and orange 
spectrum of color. You can exit the temple to the east, while the temple 
itself continues to the north and small rooms open to the south and west. Very
young students from a variety of professions ascend and descend a small 
staircase that leads down intoa bland hallway, too narrow and ordinary for any
but the most unlearned to take an interest.
